So David and I are Skyping as the final touches are being put on the website by the ever helpful Michael Hirschberg (visit atarem.com for all your website needs).
Neither of us has packed, attempted to start packing or finished figuring out what we want to bring/get. On the plus side both of us have brought our suitcases and carry-ons into our bedrooms. Both of our rooms are messy, with potential items thrown about carelessly, much to the discontent of our respective mothers.
As the seconds literally tick away (nifty counter right?) I find myself becoming more and more anxious. On some level this whole experience feels surreal, on another level it’s absolutely terrifying. Many of my friends have gone traveling and they all say I will have the time of my life and I believe them but…it’s hard to sell the monster of nerves that have wormed their way into my brain.
I can’t think of anything more clever then: 5 days left!
